Fantasy World started its operations in Kuwait on April 28, 1996. It has become the pioneer in the toy industry in importing the finest of toys from across the world and retailing them in Kuwait. It became the region's first to introduce an upscale US-designed toy store concept. Since then, Fantasy World Toys ventured into becoming a leader in branded and specialty toys in Kuwait. It has grown to launch six physical retail stores in Kuwait and is considered one of the first choices for the latest, best, and most comprehensive range of toys. However, despite its enormous physical popularity, it faced obstacles while operating its eStore on its previous eCommerce platform. Hence, it reached out to Krish to revamp and enhance its eStore for a better in-digital-store experience.
Other than the vast physical presence of Fantasy World Toys amongst kids and adults alike in Kuwait, they were operating digitally via an eCommerce store previously built on Magento Community 2.1. But the outdated platform was creating much of stumbling legos for the users, visitors, and owners alike. It needed an up-to-date digital commerce platform to refurbish outdated codes, streamline operations and completely rejuvenate the user experience. The Magento technocrats at Krish followed a carefully strategized commerce plan to help the client seamlessly overcome all of the issues.
For a superior CX and overall enhanced performance, Krish seamlessly executed a migration for Fantasy World Toys from Magento Community 2.1 to Adobe Commerce Enterprise Version 2.4. We leveraged Adobe Commerce for its whole suite of services, ranging from an eCommerce platform to enhancing performance and creating a personalized customer experience. Each of the functionalities and features was seamlessly integrated, rendering greater flexibility and agility to the operational side of the business.
The implementation support was at par due to close collaboration between the platform and the SI agency. We also customized a "Gift Finder" for Fantasy World Toys, allowing users to find a perfect gift for the ones they love without going through the entire product catalog and searching rabbit holes. We also created distinctive product categories for visitors to access specialty theme-based products in the digital toy store. Another great addition to the project was deploying Elastic search for a flexible and efficient search process for eStore visitors. We helped Fantasy World Toys leverage Adobe Commerce technology and other utility tech stacks to cement their online credibility and see a definite rise in numbers in black and white.
In this case, this project was unique for Krish. We saw it as a chance to play our part in creating lifelong memories for kids. Fantasy World Toys is leveraging the power of Adobe Commerce to create an experience that is essential to give a seamless online shopping journey to the buyers on the website with incredible UI/UX. Post the migration, there was a definite increase in the total number of orders and a 272% growth in the number of overall customers. Fantasy world Toys is welcoming the change with increased speed on the eStore, improved security and support, and giving customers more relevant experiences. It has also witnessed an improved mobile experience used to cater to the users accessing the web store via mobile.
