#MM18ASIA – one of the most prominent Magento event of the year is already over. We’re so happy that we were part of this marvellous Meet Magento experience held at Avani Riverside Bangkok, a scenic hotel on the bank of river Chao Phraya. The overall ambience at #MM18ASIA was one of the best amongst all the Meet Magento events that has happened in 2018.
The level of enthusiasm in the hall was beyond par. The kind of synergy created by the diversified audience of agencies, 3rd party service providers, local and other cross border brands was something rare to find. In all, there were 600+ attendees from more than 10 countries who participated in this mega event. The crowd was qualitative, and having a fair bit of idea of the overall event.
Everyone was excited for the amazing sessions they were about to experience. The event kicked off with welcome notes by Hieu Nguyen (Chairman – SmartOSC). This was then followed by a trail of 30 speakers who shared ground-breaking insights to help attendees elevate their eCommerce vision. One of the highlight of the event was a session entitled, “Decoding the Enigma Behind Global Expansion – Gateway to Unbound Commerce” by our enterprise sales manager, Mr. Sumesh Soman. Everyone proactively participated in the sessions and made the most of it.
Now when the attendees were equipped with the best tools and strategies to emerge as a successful brand online, it was time to enjoy their success with a post-event party! Attendees got a chance to network with the “movers and shakers” of the industry. Everyone had a great time discussing commerce for their brand.
We also had the privilege to meet Max (Head of Community Engineering, Magento – an Adobe Company) and discuss with him ways we can propel Indian Magento Community to make substantial impact on global level.
Overall, Meet Magento Asia provided brands, retailers, and agencies an incredible platform to learn, engage, network, and grow with Magento. It helped brands to realize the unbelievable opportunities that lie in Asia to emerge successfully online. It also provided a deep insight of the current market when it comes to Asia and how not only Ecommerce is becoming a prominent industry in this part of the world but also how Magento is growing to showcase more strength and garner more brand value.
Being Magento’s Enterprise Solution Partner, we certainly enjoyed the entire 1-day conference and had a great time there. Sure enough, this Meet Magento Asia was once in a lifetime experience for us and we look forward to more such Magento events in future.
